Consent Agenda

All matters listed under the Consent Agenda are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will not be separate discussion of these items. If discussion is desired, that item will be removed from the consent agenda and will be considered separately.

A. Approval of the Minutes from the February 22, 2000 Regular Meeting.

ITEMS FOR INDIVIDUAL CONSIDERATION

1. Consider and act upon approval of a Resolution amending the current investment policy as required by the Texas Government Code, Chapter 2256, Public Funds Investment Act, Subchapter A - Authorized Investments for Governmental Entities.

2. Consider and act upon approval of an ordinance amending Ordinance Nos. 92-6, 96-14 and 96-22 of the City of Wylie, Texas in regard to regulations for the disposal of sewage and the use of public sewers in Wylie; regulating the discharge of hazardous metals and chemical or toxic substances into the sanitary sewer of the City of Wylie, Texas.

Executive Session

In accordance with Chapter 551, Government Code, Vernon=s Texas Codes Annotated (Open Meeting Law). Section 551.074 Personnel Matters; to deliberate the appointment of an interim City Manager.

Reconvene into Open Meeting

Take any action as a result of Executive Session.

Adjournment.

In addition to specifically identified Executive Sessions, Council may convene into Executive Session at any point during the open meeting to discuss any item posted on this agenda. Specific sections of the Open Meetings Act will be identified and announced should Council elect to convene into Executive Session.
