CONSENT AGENDA
All matters listed under the Consent Agenda
are considered to be routine by the City Council and will be
enacted by one motion. There will not be separate discussion
of these items. If discussion is desired, that item will be
removed from the Consent Agenda and will be considered
separately. |
- Approval of the Minutes from the Regular Meeting of February
11, 2003.
- Consider and act upon accepting the resignation of Councilman
Joel Scott.
- Consider and act upon approving a contract for election
services between the City of Wylie and the Collin County
Elections Administration for the May 3, 2003 Municipal Election.
- Consider and act upon approving a Resolution ordering a
Special Election in conjunction with the General Election to be
held jointly with the Wylie Independent School District on May
3, 2003 for the purpose of electing two members, Place 2 and 4,
to the Wylie City Council to fill expired terms; and to elect
one member to fill an unexpired term for Place 1.
- Consider and act upon a Preliminary Plat for the Wyndham
Meadows Addition, being all of a certain 12.45 acre tract of
land, generally located north of Brown Street and east of
Eubanks Lane, and being part of that tract of land described in
a deed to Riverbend RV Park in Volume 4751, Page 2469 of the
Deed Records of Collin County, Texas (DRCCT) and part of that
tract of land described in a deed to Bobby C. Beilue as recorded
in County Clerk's File No. 92-0036204 of the DRCCT, and being
situated in the Francisco De La Pina Survey, Abstract No. 688,
City of Wylie, Collin County, Texas.
- Consider and act upon a Final Plat for the Wylie I.S.D.
Transportation Center Addition, being all of a certain 10.009
acre tract of land, generally located east of Country Club Road
(F.M. 1378) and north of West Brown Street (F.M. 3412), and
being all of that tract of land described in a deed to the Wylie
Independent School District as recorded in County Clerk's File
No. 2001-027918, Deed Records of Collin County, Texas, and being
situated in the Charles Atterbury Survey, Abstract No. 22, City
of Wylie, Collin County, Texas.

- Hold a Public Hearing to consider and act upon a change in
zoning from Corridor Commercial (CC) District to Multi-Family
Residential (MF) District, generally located north of Centennial
Drive between Eubanks Lane and Spring Creek Parkway, being all
of a 12.393 acre tract of land described as Lot 1, Block B of
the Woodlake Village Addition, City of Wylie, Collin County,
Texas. (Zoning Case 2002-14)
Public Hearings
- Hold a public hearing to consider and act upon adoption of the
revised Subdivision Regulations.
- Hold a public hearing to consider and act upon the annual
review of the Standards of Care for Youth Programs as adopted by
Ordinance 2000-7.
Presentation of Report
- Presentation of the annual report of Wylie Police Department
Contact Data (Tier 1) for 2002, as required by the Texas Racial
Profiling Law (S.B. No. 1074).

In addition to any specifically identified
Executive Sessions, Council may convene into Executive Session at
any point during the open meeting to discuss any item posted on this
agenda. The Open Meetings Act provides specific exceptions that

and announced. Any subsequent action, as a result of this Executive
