PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD MINUTES

CALL TO ORDER
This meeting was called to order. Those present were Dan Chesnut, Leonard Esquivel, Anne Hiney, Ivan Holmes, David Willey, and Eugene Garner (Ivan Holmes and Ann Hiney arrived late and were not present for the vote on the Minutes and Action Item). Lisa Williams was not present.

CITIZEN PARTICIPATION

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

  1. A motion to approve the minutes from the August 30, 2002 meeting was made by Eugene Garner. Leonard Esquivel 2nd the motion. The Board approved the motion 4-0.

ACTION ITEMS

  1. Discuss and consider Parks and Recreation Department Emblem

Leonard Esquivel made a motion to approve the emblem that had a green "W" in the upper border. Eugene 2nd the motion. The Board approved the motion 4-0.

DISCUSSION ITEMS

  1. - 7.  The Parks and Recreation Board was updated by staff on the following issues: Planned Development Plans for Birmingham Farms 4A-4B, 13,14, Preliminary Plats for The Village and Stiles Crossing, construction update for Quail Meadow Park, and parkland dedication fees balance.

ADJOURNMENT
The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m. with a motion by Eugene Garner and 2nd by Anne Hiney.
