Fire Department

The Fire Department protects the lives, property and environment of the City of Wylie in the event of fire and manmade or natural disaster; and to provide Advanced Life Support Emergency Medical first responder services to the citizens. Primary functions include fire suppression, fire inspection, fire prevention, fire investigation, emergency medical responses, hazardous materials release mitigation and rescues of trapped or entangled persons. Included in the Fire Department, is Emergency Communications/Dispatch, which provides prompt, accurate and efficient delivery of 9-1-1 dispatch services to the community.
