The Police Department preserves the peace, protects life and property through the enforcement of state and city laws, and the apprehension of criminals. The Police Department contains the following divisions: Animal Control, Criminal Investigation (CID), K-9 Unit, Patrol, Records, School Resource Officers (SROs) and SWAT.
