Public Services

The Public Services Department is comprised of two main divisions: Parks & Recreation and Public Works. Parks & Recreation is a responsible for the development and maintenance of parks, landscaped roadway areas and other public rights of way, as well as creating, implementing and supervising recreational activities for the community. Public Works contains two operating subdivisions: streets and water/wastewater. Streets is responsible for maintaining over 65 miles of streets and alleys as well as storm drainage systems, street signs and downtown streetlights. Water/wastewater ensures the City is supplying safe, uninterrupted water and wastewater services to residents and businesses.
