Pets On Parade

It’s Not Just For Dogs Anymore

October is PET MONTH and it’s time to celebrate our favorite furry, purr-r-y, fuzzy, feathery, scaly friends.

Decorate yourself, your bicycle, wagon, wheelbarrow, or cart and bring your favorite pet: real, stuffed, plastic or imaginary and join us for a Pet Parade, Monday, October 17 at 4:30 p.m.

Other events for the afternoon will include Animal Control Officer Katie Munson with our annual ADOPT-A-PET.  If you have been thinking about adopting a pet now is the time to do it.  Last year we adopted a record number of homeless animals.  Let’s see if we can beat that record this year.  We are also planning for a vaccination clinic.

COME ON OUT AND JOIN US!

(Please have proof of current vaccinations.)

(Parade route starts at the Library)
