2nd Six Weeks - Respect
Respect is showing regard or consideration
for someone or something. It takes many forms--self-respect,
respect for others, respect for property, respect for the earth
and the life it supports.
Students need to understand
respect is the willful concern for the rights of others and
the desire to protect and preserve the value of all things--living
and nonliving.
Developing respect is a critical
character trait because it provides the foundation for many
of the other pillars of character.
