State of the City Address Online

He focused on four main areas basing his presentation on the City Council’s Strategic Action Plan: Economic Development, the New Civic Complex, Public Safety and Streets.

Flat Rate Sewer Fee

For ease of billing and budgeting, beginning May 1, the City of Wylie is moving to a flat rate sewer fee of $27 per month.  Customers 65 years or older with a homestead exemption and disabled customers with a homestead exemption will pay a discounted fee of $20 per month.   Two dollars from each customer per month will be placed in a repair and replacement fund to ensure that the water and sewer infrastructure meets the current and future demands of the citizens.  The flat rate considerably reduces the cost for the billing and collection of sewer fees.

Food Inspection Scores Online

The City of Wylie contracts with the Collin County Health Department for routine inspections, education and monitoring of all food facilities including restaurants, daycare centers, schools, grocers, mobile food vendors and temporary food facilities. Check out the scores online.
