Criminal Investigation Division (CID)
Criminal Investigation Division (CID) is primarily responsible
for conducting follow-up investigations to crimes. This includes
obtaining search and arrest warrants as well as to gather evidence
that leads to successful prosecution of criminal offenders and the
recovery of stolen property.
CID is also responsible for sex offender registration and Crime
Scene Investigation (CSI).
Tipline
Anyone with information about any suspicious activity,
ongoing investigation, or criminal activity in Wylie should contact
CID. This could include information on anyone’s participation
in a crime or the location of a wanted person. All information is
confidential and individuals providing information may remain anonymous.
