Age Groups
Each year we are able to offer a unique camp experience for four distinct age groups:

Puddle Jumpers – 1st - 2nd graders
Waveriders – 3rd – 4th graders
Wavesurfers – 5th - 6th graders
Waverunners -7th & 8th graders

To better serve the needs of our campers, we are able to specialize the camps to the distinctive characteristics of each of the groups while maintaining the level of fun that has been a tradition of the Wave program. Each group will follow their own daily schedule with activities that are age-appropriate and of interest to that group.

Activities will promote physical fitness, education and good citizenship, as well as develop motor skills, character and self-esteem. These activities will include swimming, sports and interest camps, games, field trips, arts & crafts, and service projects.

Staff
Campers will be led by trained staff who have experience working with children in a variety of settings. Most are college students or local teachers. All are required to be trained in First Aid/CPR and pass rigorous background and drug testing.
