Senior Programs

The Bart Peddicord Community Center is home to the city of Wylie's Seniors Program, which strives to provide Wylie seniors with fellowship and activities.

Approximately 30 seniors attend events with 15 on a daily average. Most of the participants are in their 70’s and 80’s. One of the youngest is 68 and simply referred to as "Baby."

Now, the Community Center is home to a variety of senior activities. Daily and weekly activities include:

  • Dominos
  • Cards
  • Bingo
  • Exercise
  • Arts & Craft

The Community Center also hosts monthly theme parties; as well as planned trips and programs for education and cultural purposes.
