Bulky Trash Pick-Up
Per agreement between the City of Wylie and Allied Waste, a monthly
brush and bulky waste pick-up service has been added for materials
that do not fit inside a cart container.
Dates
These bulky waste items are picked up on regular collection days
during the week of each month in which the third Wednesday occurs.
Specifics
Brush must be cut in four (4) foot lengths and tied in bundles.
The maximum volume for the regularly scheduled pick up is two cubic
yards or 3' wide, 3' high and 6' in length equivalent per residence.
Items must not be heavier than one man can pick up and place on
a trash truck. Because of the type of truck used, items must be
placed at curbside only. Items that exceed the maximum weight or
volume will be left at the curb. Residents may arrange for special
collections of larger items by contacting Allied Waste, who will
provide an estimate to remove these items and bill residents directly.
Guidelines
BULK - One time per month on trash day
Limit - 2 cubic yards

Examples of Brush - Cut, Tie and Bundle:
Brush should be cut, tied and bundled in 4' - 5' lengths, six inches
(6") in diameter, not weighing more than 50 pounds.
