Meeting Room Policy
Application Form 

After the Library schedules its programs, citizens may apply to use the Meeting Spaces. Meeting Spaces on available first-come, first-served basis. To use any Meeting Space, organizations must apply (48 hours before the scheduled meeting) in writing using this form

The Meeting Spaces are available from:

Sunday Closed 2 PM - 6 PM
Time includes both set-up and break-down. Meetings must conclude at least 15 minutes prior to the closing of the library or the designated time of the meeting. Groups using the Meeting Spaces shall be responsible for setting up chairs, tables, and other equipment before the meeting, maintaining order during the meeting, taking down whatever they put up after the meeting, and seeing that the facility is neat and clean at the conclusion of the program. 


Cost

Payment must be received at the time of the reservation. An Application will not be considered without full payment. If the Application is not approved, payment will be refunded. A $3 service fee is charged for debit and credit card transactions.

Multipurpose Room
Monday - Saturday
$45 per hour, nonrefundable
Non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations: $30 per hour, non-refundable. Proof of non-profit status is required.

Sunday
$100 per hour for all users, non-refundable.

Conference Room
Monday - Saturday
$20 per hour, nonrefundable
Free to non-profit organizations. Proof of non-profit status is required.

Sunday
$100 per hour for all users, non-refundable.

Foyer (Sunday Only)
$100 per hour for all users, non-refundable

Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance for a refund. Failure to notify library staff of a meeting cancellation within 48 hours may result in privileges being revoked. Groups are fully responsible for the cost of any and all damages based upon actual repair or replacement costs. 

Groups may not:
Charge admission, accept donations, nor take collections
Sell, offer, create mailing lists, or in any way advertise merchandise or service
Go over the posted occupancy rate.
Serve alcoholic beverages

Permission to meet or display in the Library does not constitute endorsement by the Library or the Wylie City Council of any aspect of a meeting or display. Library staff, however, reserves the right to attend or observe all meetings. Such attendance or observation shall not constitute endorsement. The Library Director may cancel any room reservation or display at any time, with or without cause.
