Saturday work is not guaranteed and developers and contractors shall schedule accordingly. Any type of construction performed on Saturday requires a permit, and the presence of a City Inspector. No work is allowed on Sunday or on holidays.
An email shall be sent to Joe Tidwell the preceding Thursday morning to confirm an inspector is available. Fees for Saturday work shall be paid by noon on Thursday at the City Utility Billing Department. The cost of the permit is $75 an hour or $350 for the full eight (8) hour day. To pay by phone using a credit card call 972-516-6100, stating the payment applies to Account 83. Please provide the name of the business and the location of the work. A confirmation email will be sent once payment is made.
