In an effort to prepare for incidents before they occur, we have developed a system called pre-planning. Fire Life & Safety Inspection/Fire Final Inspections and Permits are not completed or issued until the pre-plan requirements have been received.

Pre-Plan Requirements

·    Fire Life & Safety Inspection/Fire Final Inspections

Fire Life & Safety Inspection/Fire Final Inspections are required by city ordinance. After filing for a "Certificate of Occupancy" application with the City of Wylie Building Department, Wylie Fire-Rescue/Community Risk Reduction Division will contact you to schedule your fire inspection.

·       Key Boxes

Key boxes are required for all new commercial construction.
