Wylie City Parks
RESTROOMS & WATER FOUNTAINS:
The restroom facilities and water fountains at Olde City Park, Community Park and Founders Park close due to winterization December through the first week of March.
SOCCER FIELDS & BACKSTOPS:
Beginning fall/2014, practice backstops and soccer fields at Avalon, Creekside, Dodd, Lakeside and Valentine Parks will be available on a first come, first served basis only.

Lake Lavon area parks and pavilions are owned/operated by the Army Corp

Pavilions (may reserve for a fee): Community Park and Olde City Park. Accommodate larger groups, have lighting, electrical outlets, grills and restrooms.
Pavilions (may reserve at no cost): Eureka Park, Friendship Park, Kreymer Estates, Riverway Park and Valentine Park. Founders Park pavilions may be used first come, first serve only.
Gazebo (may reserve for a fee): Olde City Park. Has lights and electrical outlets available.
Pirates Cove: Founders Park. Please note that pavilions at Founders Park are available only on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved.
Soccer practice fields (no lights, 1 side of field per team): Avalon Park (2), Creekside Park (1), Dodd Park (2) and Lakeside Park (2). Available on a first come, first served basis only. Please note that Dodd Park soccer fields are unavailable Wednesday evenings and most hours on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year due to Cricket.
Backstops-practice (no lights): Avalon Park (2), Creekside Park (1), Dodd Park (4) and Valentine Park (4). Available on a first come, first served basis only. Please note that Dodd Park backstops are unavailable Wednesday evenings and most hours on Saturdays and Sundays due to Cricket.
Cricket Pitch (no lights): 1 available at Dodd Park
Basketball courts: Community Park (3 unlighted), Founders Park (1 lighted until 11:59 pm), Creekside Park (1), Eureka Park (1), Friendship Park (1) and Lakeside Park (1).
Sand volleyball courts: Founders Park (2 lighted until 11:59 pm) and Community Park (1 unlighted).
Tennis courts: Founders Park. Eight lighted courts shared with WISD.
Disc Golf: Oncor Park.
Horseshoe pit: Olde City Park.
Skate park (free but cannot be reserved): Joel Scott Memorial Park.
Hike and bike trails: Founders Park, Community Park, Olde City Park, Sage Creek, Muddy Creek Preserve, Friendship Park, Birmingham Farms, Creekside Park, Joel Scott Park, Eureka Park, Kreymer Estates, Meadowview Estates and Wylie Lakes. Wylie Municipal Trail coming spring of 2015!
Natural surface trail: Trinity Trailhead.
Please note that all City of Wylie pavilions (and the gazebo) are available for use on a first come first serve basis unless a permit has been issued. A permit is recommended if exclusive, guaranteed use is desired.
