Fire
Prevention and Inspections
The Inspectors of the Fire Prevention Division conduct ongoing
inspections for the purpose of life safety, reduction in property
loss, and the enforcement of federal, state, and local fire regulations.
Inspections are conducted in relation to hazardous materials, certificates
of occupancy, and underground storage tank regulations. Additionally,
the Fire Prevention Division provides educational programs and events
to inform the community in the areas of life safety and disaster
preparedness.
