Friends of the Library

The Friends of the Rita & Truett Smith Public Library is a non-policy making non-profit organization that operates exclusively for the civic purpose to support the library. We accomplish this through advocacy and fundraising in order to help the library with its mission to provide educational, informational, and recreational resources to all patrons of the library.

The Friends of the Library meet on the third Tuesday every month at 6:30 pm to discuss various issues related to supporting the library.

If you would like more information, please call the library at 972-516-6250.

More events will come up throughout the year, so if the ones listed above do not work for you, then feel free to apply and you will receive notice about other events as they are scheduled.
