Black-and-white and color printers are available for public use. The cost per page is:

Black-and-white: $.15 
Color: $.50

Printing is cash only and will take coins (nickels, dimes and quarters) and up to a $5 bill. The library is unable to make change for print jobs. The library is unable to print on any type of special paper and prints letter size only.

To print from a library computer, you will need a Smith Public Library card.

Computer and Internet Access
Computers are available for up two hours a day. A Smith Public Library card is required for computer use. All computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You must bring your own headphones.

Laptops are available in the Teen Room for checkout. Teen must bring their Smith Public Library card to check out a laptop. You must bring your own headphones.

Computers are available in the Children's Area for up two hours a day, for 30 minutes at a time. Children must bring their Smith Public Library card to use the computers. All computers are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You must bring your own headphones.

A parent or legal guardian must sign a computer use policy form before minors are allowed to use children's computers or teen laptops.

W-Fi is available for public use across the city's municipal complex (library, recreation center and city hall). You will need to connect to the "Guest" network on your laptop or mobile device. You will then be prompted to accept the city's terms and regulations. The Guest network is not secure and should be used at your own risk.

Scanning and Copying 
The library's copier is located next to the Service Desk.

Scanning is available through the library's copy machine. You will need to bring a flash drive in order to scan documents. For assistance with scanning please see the Help Desk. There is no cost to use the scanner.

Fax Services
The library offers faxing service via Fax24 and accepts credit or debit cards only. The library cannot receive faxes.

Domestic numbers: $1.75 for the first page, $1 for additional pages
International numbers: $3.95 for the first page, $3.45 for additional pages
