To participate just read or listen to a unique book from each of the 20 categories below. Titles must be adult or YA level. Record their titles on the log and return completed log to the Help Desk before December 31, 2020. Complete the challenge and receive a commemorative T-shirt (available for pickup in early 2021). Download the 2020 log

  • Carnegie Medal Winner or Nominee - An Andrew Carnegie Medal award winner or nominee (fiction or nonfiction)
  • Comedy of Manners - A social satire of the rich or famous (fiction)
  • Immigrant Experiences - A book about a person building a life in a new country (fiction or nonfiction)
  • Magic or Illusions - A book about magic, magicians, wizards, or illusions (fiction or nonfiction)
  • New Release - A book published in 2020 (fiction or nonfiction)
  • Retelling - A book that is a new twist on a classic story or fairytale (fiction)
  • Scotland - A book set in or about Scotland (fiction or nonfiction)
  • Secrets or Secrecy - A book about spies, secret-keeping or espionage (fiction or nonfiction)
  • Silver Screen - A book about movies or movie-making (fiction or nonfiction)
  • Southern Gothic Literature - A book of dark suspense set in the American south (fiction)
  • Sports - A book about sports (fiction or nonfiction
  • TBR - A book from your To Be Read list (fiction or nonfiction)
  • Tech-Thriller - A thriller plot with a technology twist (fiction)
  • Unreliable Narrator - A book in which you cannot trust the narrator (fiction)
