Services are rendered on a first-come, first-served basis with signups beginning at 3:30 pm. Dr. Wood and shelter staff will stay to accommodate all patients signed up before 7 pm. Other services include heartworm testing, flea and tick medication, and heartworm medication. For more information call Animal Control, 972-429-8047.
Rabies vaccinations for dogs and cats cost $12 for one year and $34 for three years. Annual combo (rabies and 6-in-1) is $38 for puppies and dogs over the age of 4 months and $28 for kittens and cats.
Other low-cost care (deworming, heartworm test, heartworm/flea prevention) are available at substantial savings.

The City of Wylie Animal Services does not schedule or assist with this service. You must contact SNN for all correspondence.
City of Wylie Animal Services has teamed up with Spay Neuter Network to provide Wylie citizens with a low-cost pet sterilization shuttle program. Schedule an appointment online and view pricing and services or call 972-472-3500.
- Two shuttle service dates are available each month.
- Appointments must be made with the Kaufman County Animal Awareness Project.
- Animals will be picked up by shuttle service at the City of Wylie Animal Control at 6:30 am. Animals will be returned by shuttle service the same day at approximately 5:30 pm. (This is done utilizing the parking lot area. No animals will be admitted into the facility.)
Spay Neuter Network has a new 5,400-square-foot, a state-of-the-art clinic that is set up to perform over 17,000 surgeries per year. This clinic is staffed with experienced skilled surgeons and veterinary technicians. They have two temperature-controlled transport vehicles that will accommodate up to 60 animals of various sizes.
