March Manga Madness Art Contest
for 4th-12th graders
Submit your original artwork in the Teen Room between 3/18/19 - 3/23/19
in the 4th-8th grade category or the 9th-12th grade category.
Voting runs 3/25/19 - 3/30/19. All patrons may vote only once that week.
Two different prizes will be awarded in each category:
- The grand prize is 2 tickets to Anime Fest. For this prize, the entries will be judged by various community leaders.
- The popular prize is a Barnes and Noble gift card. This prize will go to the entry with the most votes from the public.
L.A.M.B. (Look at My Book) Program
Monday 2/4/19 - Saturday 5/4/19
All children grades 6 and younger are welcome to participate.
The L.A.M.B. program was started in 2014 to encourage creativity, imagination and writing skills.
Participants write a book that is then displayed and added to the library collection for in-house check-out.

Participants may register to attend one of the Young Author's Receptions on Saturday 5/11/19.
Young authors may invite up to 4 guests to attend the reception where they will be recognized for their work and sign autographs.

Practice your read-aloud skills by reading to Tillie and Kelsey,
our therapy dogs.
Saturdays from 11:00-11:45 am
This is not a storytime and participants are typically in kindergarten through second grade.
Tickets are required, free and limited. They will be available at 10:00 am at the Children's Desk on the day of the program.
Please note there will be no Wagging Tales on Saturday 3/23/19.
LEGO Family Build Days: 3:30-4:45pm In the Storytime Room.
Come show off your creative skills with the library's LEGO and DUPLO.
All ages welcome. Children ages nine (9) and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
