Wednesdays and Thursdays 3:00 - 5:00pm Teen Summer Programs
  • June 12 Awful Art Showcase - Kick off summer by creating some bad art. We’ll exhibit everyone’s attempts at the unseemly, vote for our favorites and proclaim the winners of this unique art show.
  • June 13 YouTube Workshop - Are you a budding YouTube star? Wanna go viral? Learn all about content creation and curating your own YouTube channel with Chris Camacho of UTD.
  • June 19 Cosplay 101 - Cosplay award winner Mindy Tomlin, aka The Geeky Seamstress, will take us through cosplay costume creation, show us some of her favorite get-ups and answer any and all questions you have about cosplay.
  • June 20: Cupcake Wars - This program and the wait list is full. Please mark your calendars for 6/27/19 which is when registration opens for the July session of this event. Michelle of Hands on Design will teach you the basics of cupcake decorating so you can compete in the ultimate design challenge. This program is repeated in July. Please register for one session only.
  • June 26 & 27 Dungeons and Dragons Part 1 & 2 - Have you always wanted to be an elven wizard? Or do you see yourself as more of a halfling druid? We’re ready to role play in this two-part program where you will complete your own fantasy adventure. Participants attending Session 2 must have attended Session 1.
  • July 3 Robotics 101 with The Perot Museum – Get ready to experiment with electrical circuits, learn how to use binary code and interact with simple robots! Two classes offered: one at 3:00pm and one at 4:00pm. Please register for one time only.
  • July 10 Canvas Vandals - Learn the history of street art, how to make a stencil, spray paint techniques and create an original piece of artwork with the skills you learn!
  • July 11 Cupcake Wars - Michelle of Hands on Design will teach you the basics of cupcake decorating so you can compete in the ultimate design challenge. If you participated in this program in June, please do not register for this session.
  • July 17 K-Pop Choreography Class - David and Chantha of K-Pop Dance Dallas join us for this hour and a half long class where you will learn original choreography to one of your favorite K-Pop songs.

End of SummerEnd of Summer Party
Friday, July 19 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm
